Giving support to FPTI Schools

Among the many things that she is famous for, Mrs Brown is known for sending girls to train at some of the Foundation for Professional Training, Inc. (FPTI) Schools.

The FPTI Schools in the Philippines are:

• Anihan Technical School
• Banilad Center for Professional Development
• Habihan School
• Maligaya Institute for Culinary Arts and Residential Services
• Punlaan School

The photo above is of Punlaan School. The benefit of sending girls for training in these FPTI Schools is chiefly the empowerment of women especially from the less privileged sectors to contribute to the efforts of nation-building through high-quality work (skills training both in industry and in households) and character-building founded on Christian values.
